    Guitar neck.
    The present invention relates to a guitar neck.
    Guitar necks have a relatively flat side where the strings of the guitar are present and an opposite side that is curved.
    Guitar necks are normally treated with a surface layer of varnish corresponding. The varnish can be glossy or matt. One problem is that guitarists with hand sweat experience an unevenness in the resistance of moving the hand along the guitar neck underplay. Different guitarists therefore prefer different surface layers that give different size or small friction between hand and guitar neck. It happens that the friction becomes so high that a hand with hand sweat tends to get stuck when the hand is moved along the guitar neck. The present invention reduces, or eliminates, problems with hand sweating during play. In the event that moisture is deposited on the guitar neck of different shells, the said problem is reduced in the same way.
    The present invention thus relates to a guitar neck having a substantially flat surface on the side of the guitar neck where guitar strings are intended to be coated and an opposing arched surface, where the guitar neck extends from a neck neck closest to the guitar body's guitar body to a head where guitar strings are adjustable and adjustable. , that the arched side of the guitar neck is provided with grooves running along the longitudinal direction of the guitar neck between the neck and said head.

    The guitar neck 1 has a substantially flat surface 2 on the side of the guitar neck where guitar strings are intended to be coated, see figure 2. The guitar neck has an opposite curved surface 3. The guitar neck 1 runs from a neck neck 4 closest to the guitar cleaning guitar body to a head 5 where the guitar strings are adjustably fastened.

    According to a further alternative embodiment, the grooves 6 have a single downwardly tapering cross-sectional profile, as illustrated in Figure 4. Other cross-sectional profiles of the grooves can also be suitable.
    According to a preferred embodiment, the width of the grooves 6 plus a space between two adjacent grooves is 6 l - 5 millimeters.
    For example, the width of the grooves 6 may be 3 millimeters and the distance between two adjacent grooves 6 may be 2 millimeters. In this case, the curved surface 3 is reduced by half.
    According to a further preferred embodiment, the grooves 6 have a depth of 0.5 - 3 millimeters.
    Through the intermediate surfaces 8 between the grooves 6, a substantially unchanged grip is obtained with the hand around the guitar neck. Furthermore, the grooves 6 indicate that a certain air exchange takes place at the curved surface of the guitar neck, which contributes to the evaporation of existing hand sweat.
